February 19, 2002 – Jerry T. Wade, former principal of Thouvenot, Wade & Moerchen, Inc., died February 18, 2002, at the age of 62. In 1946, Jerry’s father, A. Yorker Wade founded the Wade Engineering Company, in Belleville, Illinois. He subsequently sold that company in 1962 to Jerry and others and it progressed through various forms of ownership, eventually becoming the Thouvenot, Wade & Moerchen, Inc. of today. Jerry later sold his interest in TWM when he took over the management of a sister company, Testing, Analysis & Control, Inc. (TAC). TAC provides contract operation of wastewater treatment plants.
Jerry was licensed as a class one wastewater treatment plant operator and as a land surveyor in both Illinois and Missouri. His wit and his smile will be missed by those who knew him and worked with him.
