March 2011New Mississippi River Bridge – TWM is currently providing land surveying and structural engineering for the new bridge to carry I-70 over the Mississippi River in downtown St. Louis. Under contract to the joint venture of Keeley and Sons, Inc. and Keller Construction, Inc., TWM is performing topographic surveying and construction staking for the Illinois-side bridge approach. TWM’s Structural Department is working on curved girder erection plans for that same approach.

Southwest Illinois Levee Project – The Southwestern Illinois Flood Prevention District Council recently selected a team comprised of TWM, Campion Group and Shively Geotechnical to assist the District by providing Project Management services. The team members will help oversee other professionals who will be designing, constructing, and certifying the levee system in the first phase of improvements along the Mississippi River in Madison, St. Clair and Monroe Counties.

Arch Grounds Redevelopment – TWM is a member of the Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates team that has been tasked with designing the revitalization of the Gateway Arch grounds. As a subconsultant to MVVA, the landscape architecture firm that won The City+The Arch+The River 2015 design competition, TWM has initially provided due diligence and surveying services on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River. The firm’s previous and ongoing work at Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park on the east riverfront is helping to expedite the process for the MVVA team.

St. Charles Flood Gates – TWM is also currently evaluating and preparing plans and specifications for changes to or replacement of six flood gates and the associated storm sewer systems leading to the Missouri River in the City of St. Charles.
