Poplar Street Bridge Ramp to I-55
TWM provided value engineering services to eliminate ground improvements on the Poplar Street Bridge Ramp by designing an additional span. Working with the contractor, TWM prepared preliminary bridge plans for V.E. approval: prepared final bridge, MSE wall, and roadway plans for the new span; revised 30 sheets of the original bridge plans to accommodate the new span; and coordinated with MoDOT and MSD. The new span had a curved deck on straight girders. The ramp was constructed during a short road closure.
