  • COMPLETION DATE: 2016 (First 3 task orders in a 5-year contract.)

Hydrographic surveys and other field surveys were provided by TWM as part of this federal contract for the US Army Corps of Engineers. Our sub-consultant, Seaworks, worked with us to survey river cross sections within the St. Louis District. Thus far, the team has performed:

  • 18 cross section surveys of the Big River, at the Rockford Beach area, for use in modeling the river using HEC-RAS
  • 90 cross sections, 3 bridge, and 3 pier surveys at locations along the middle Kaskaskia River in Fayette County and Shelby County, Illinois for use in a flood capacity report and flood curve analysis using HEC-RAS
  • Detailed topographic / planimetric survey at two road intersections along the levee as well as 10 culverts located in Perry County, Missouri for identification of existing conditions for future drainage improvements
