  Caseyville Township Wastewater   Treatment Plant Expansion

TWM designed the expansion of the existing Caseyville Township Wastewater Treatment Facility from 2.2 MGD to 4.4 MGD.  The existing plant is an extended aeration facility and will remain so.  The aeration system for the existing plant will be replaced and the sludge facilities abandoned and reconstructed.  The existing headworks of the plant will also be abandoned and a new terminal lift station and bar screen will be built. The expansion uses the Sequencing Batch Reactor technology, cloth media filtration, and ultraviolet light disinfection.
