TWM designed a 10’ wide shared-use path to loop around Swansea’s newest park, Clinton Hill Golf Course. The old, degraded golf cart paths were widened to 10’ for shared-use (bicycle and walking) park patrons. The loop trail encompasses the now-park property and brings the hilly cart paths into ADA compliance. TWM coordinated the design with Heartlands Conservancy, a non-profit group who is building an adjacent demonstration project. TWM was able to adjust the design and retain three critical cypress trees for their demonstration project called “A Raindrop’s Journey”.

TWM coordinated with IDNR for work in the floodplain of Richland Creek. The Village has MERPD and DCEO funds to complete construction and TWM coordinated with both entities to ensure the bidding and construction process met requirements.
