McLean County Highway Department required a wind farm contractor not only to return roadways to their initial quality but also to widen two miles of roads that were part of the construction path. TWM performed aerial LiDAR topography to assist engineers with roadway design. Our engineers completed the design in close consultation with the County to satisfy their requirements. Scope included mill and overlay plan and profiles sheets as well as the widening design plans and specifications including aggregate shoulders and V-ditches and tie-in to an existing bridge and various culverts. TWM also performed construction layout and observation/documentation in accordance with County requirements.
