IDOT Recognizes TWM with DBE Utilization Award
TWM’s Transportation Manager, Sheila Kimlinger, P.E., S.E., accepted IDOT’s DBE Award from Illinois’s Secretary of Transportation.
March 2018 – TWM, Inc. recently attended the 2018 Above and Beyond VIP Breakfast hosted by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). The event was part of IDOT’s “Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Reward” DBE Conference. TWM received an award for exceeding our DBE goals for all the projects we partnered with IDOT to complete in 2017. TWM’s Transportation Manager, Sheila Kimlinger, P.E., S.E., accepted the award from Randy Blankenhorn, Illinois’s Secretary of Transportation. TWM supports the utilization of DBE firms and plans to continue to exceed DBE goals internally through diversity hiring initiatives, as well as through our collaborations with local DBE firms to complete projects for government entities like IDOT.
