During a repaving project, IDOT eliminated the on-street parking along IL Route 158 (Washington Street). This project will reconstruct the curbing each side of the highway, extending it into previous parking areas, allowing for wider sidewalks. Project will also address ADA access into many of the 100-year old downtown buildings and provide new streetscape elements such as sidewalks, curb ramps, and decorative lighting to create continuity for downtown Millstadt.
