MoDOT Bridge Project in Stoddard County – Structure Nos. A8474, A8475, A8476
TWM’s team provided hydraulic design, preliminary bridge design, and final bridge design / plan preparation for three bridges in Stoddard County. All three bridges were replaced with no grade raise, minimizing roadway work required. Additionally, one bridge was reduced by approximately 40’ after hydraulic analysis determined the existing waterway opening was larger than necessary. TWM completed the design for significantly less than the original design budget.
- Superstructures: Spread P/S box beams and P/S concrete I-girders
- Substructures: Pile-supported integral end bents and concrete pile cap intermediate bents
