I-64 and I-170 Interchange – Curved Girder Erection
LOCATION: I-64 and I-170 Interchange in St. Louis County, MO
OWNER: MoDOT
As part of the I-64 Design Build Project, TWM prepared the steel erection plans for the horizontally curved, steel girder bridges that make up the flyover ramps at the I-64 and I-170 interchange in St. Louis County, MO. TWM’s responsibilities also included analyzing the steel girders for each stage of the steel erection sequence and designing the temporary support structures and tie-down systems as required.
