TWM has served as the NBIS Program Manager for the Illinois communities of Carbondale (13 structures), Glen Carbon (four structures), Mascoutah (two structures) and Troy (one structure). We are responsible for oversight of bridge inspection programs for these communities. Duties include scheduling and performing NBIS routine inspections, reporting results to the local agency and IDOT, and assisting the municipalities with prioritizing their bridge maintenance program. Types of structures inspected include P/S concrete girders with RC decks, adjacent P/S Box beams, precast channel beams, RC box culverts and precast three-sided structures.
