TWM, Inc., one of the top engineering and geospatial firms in the greater St. Louis area, is proud to announce that the Longview Boulevard Improvements in Kirkwood, Missouri, has been recognized as the 2025 Project of the Year by the American Public Works Association (APWA) Missouri Chapter, earning the award in the Transportation – Less than $1,000,000 category.
Under the leadership of Project Manager Ryan Cerniglia, PE, the Longview Boulevard project exemplifies excellence in public works design and construction. This recognition highlights the dedication, collaboration, and innovation demonstrated by the project team throughout the planning and implementation phases.

The Longview Boulevard Improvements project included traffic calming measures by means of speed hump, chicanes, and curb bump-out; high visibility pavement striping; roadway resurfacing; and new sidewalk construction as well as a new pedestrian walkway that meanders through their existing median corridor while protecting the mature trees for a tranquil experience. From the earliest stages, this project was shaped through extensive public engagement and was the driving force in the choices made on the final design. This collaborative process created infrastructure that positively impacted the residents and provided meaningful improvements to their neighborhood.
