TWM, Inc., one of the top engineering and geospatial firms in the metro-east St. Louis area, is pleased to announce that Sheppard, Morgan & Schwaab, Inc. (SMS) of Alton, Illinois, has officially joined the TWM team, marking another significant chapter in the firm’s continued growth.
This addition brings 23 new employee-owners to TWM and strengthens the firm’s capabilities in geospatial services, transportation, water infrastructure, and land development engineering. The expanded team includes seven licensed Professional Engineers (PEs), three licensed Professional Land Surveyors (PLSs), two Engineers in Training (EIs), and one Surveyor in Training (SIT), along with experienced construction engineering, CAD, technical, and support staff.
Founded in 1892, SMS has served engineering and land surveying clients for more than 130 years, building a legacy of technical excellence and trusted service. Their commitment to hard work, client service, and attention to detail closely aligns with TWM’s core values of quality, relationships, stability, ambition, and loyalty.
